Shepherdstown: Vigil - Enough! Do Something!

  • Mcmurran Hall German and King Streets Shepherdstown, WV 25443 USA (map)

On Sunday February 18th, Women’s March, Jefferson County Vigilance and Eastern Panhandle Young Dems will hold a Candlelight Vigil at the Wall at McMurran Hall in Shepherdstown, WV.

This vigil is to honor all those that senselessly lost their live at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland in Florida during a mass shooting. 17 young lives perished this day. Others were hurt. We remember them and we listen to those that have said out loud: "Do something". "We're children," a senior said. "You guys are the adults. You need to take some action and play a role. Work together. Come over your politics and get something done."

We are here to say ENOUGH! Do Something!
The time is for action is NOW.

Stand with us as we plan to raise our voices together and DO SOMETHING and ask our elected representatives to take a stance on gun control and violence in our country.

There will be several speakers.

We encourage you to bring electric candles (please no wax candles) and flags. Please be bring signs!
